Gurukul Group of Educational Institutions under Jajee Foundations’ initiated undergraduate course in the year 2010 by starting Bachelors of Business Management (BBM) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) course in the year 2013 affiliated to Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi with a vision “To emerge as an institution of global excellence, preparing youths for global competitiveness and contributing towards enhancing human happiness index and nation building activities” Gurukul Degree College has seen consistent increase in the admission of students year by year due to better quality of education and favourable learning environment. In the year 2015, Mallikarjun Bagli secured 7th rank in BBM stream of Gulbarga University, Kalaburagi. Gurukul Degree College – BBM & B.Com made a milestone by creating history with 7 GUK ranks which includes – 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th rank in BBM stream, 3rd GUK rank holder in B.Com stream was honoured with Gold Medal, this reflects the dedicated and committed team of Gurukul family. Gurukul believes in discipline and transformation of students, hence the day starts with meditation. To highlight 

few other milestones of the institution, the college has been selected as the “Best Campaigner” of digital financial literacy campaign awarded by Mr. Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister of MHRD Govt. of India.

Every year there are achievements by students in intercollegiate debate, essay, speech, Group Discussion and various other competitions organized mainly by CUK, VTU and various other reputed institutions. Gurukul College students have also excelled in sports; two of the students are selected as university blues for football team, two students are chess champions with international chess rating. Gurukul Degree College provides a platform for excellence in academic as well as co-curricular and extra- curricular activities by maintaining healthy learning environment.

Gurukul Degree College also conducts activities, guest lectures, industrial visits and Gurukul Sports event involving GPL Cricket, Badminton, Chess and Athletics.
